Japanese and Chinese Culture

Power of Three

This week in Writing, we are learning to write descriptive sentences using the ‘Power of Three.’ When using the ‘Power of Three’ to enhance our writing, we use three descriptive words to help paint a picture in the reader’s mind. Below are some sentences that we have written using the ‘Power of Three’:

Chicken chips are delicious, yummy and tasty. (Sienna)

The cat is cute, fat and grumpy! (Bridgett)

Chicken chips are tasty, lumpy and crunchy. (Tait)

Chicken chips are yummy, tasty and delicious. (Mady)

Bug is cute, adorable and cheeky. (Hudson)

The cat is Siamese, fat and sad. (Sumit)

Chicken chips are crunchy, big and chicken flavoured. (Harry)

Lego is fun, challenging and awesome. (Joel and Lachlan)

Position and Movement

School Holidays

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful school holiday! Today is a very special day, as it is Bug’s 2nd Birthday! To celebrate he had a chocolate sprinkle ‘doggy’ biscuit and a visit to the local dog park.
